OKC Thunder seems to have found a rhythm behind the arc especially with Terrance Ferguson; meanwhile, Westbrook releases another line of shoes.

For what seems like the first time this season, OKC Thunder is making headlines not for their abysmal shooting, but for their 3-point shooting success.

Though the team is split over their last ten games with five wins and five losses, OKC is amidst a remarkable turnaround in shooting behind the arc.

Berry Tramel reported for NewsOK.com on the change in shooting.

"Billy Donovan kept telling us he believed his guys could shoot better than they were shooting. But Donovan also told us, quite insightfully, that the Thunder had to create takeaways and grab offensive rebounds, because OKC had to win by taking more shots, not making more shots. No one really bothered to ponder what could happen if the Thunder started doing both. Continue to hoist more shots than the opponent, via winning the turnover battle primarily, but also start making a better percentage."

He cited massive improvements from Patrick Patterson, Terrance Ferguson, and Dennis Schroder. As well as the prolonged streak of Paul George’s phenomenal performances, igniting MVP chants and talks of Defensive Player of the Year.

One of the most unexpected factors in this turnaround is the emergence of Abdel Nader in the second-team. He’s averaging 43.8 percent three-point shooting this season, 53.8 percent over the last ten games. Nader has been a huge factor as the usual second-team shooter while Alex Abrines has yet to return.

Westbrook Fashionista:

Hey, did you know that not only is Westbrook an iconic basketball player, BUT he is also a fashion icon?

He’s constantly strolling on the set with immense fashion taste, sometimes sporting rather nontraditional style techniques, but fashionable nonetheless.

With his release of the ‘Future History Collection’, now you can turn heads too. Within the last month, he has released the line mentioned above, his #WhyNot Zer0.2 shoe in an array of sizes, and his Westbrook 0.3 lifestyle shoes he tweeted out Wednesday.

All while managing to average a triple-double for a third consecutive season, because, you know, #WhyNot?

Terrance Ferguson continues to impress:

To delve deeper into the rise in three-point shooting mentioned above, Jordan Buckamneer reported for TI on the realized potential of Terrance Ferguson.

More from Thunderous Intentions

Ferguson wrestled with confidence issues on the court for the majority of the beginning of the season, then began to shine as a defensive player for OKC Thunder. Still, with Andre Roberson on the bench, Ferguson made an attempt at filling in the void.

Now, he’s established a relatively impressive three-point shooting streak with OKC.

"Ferguson’s 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter against Philadelphia was one of four in the game and only a part of what he’s been able to do in the month of January. Since the two-point loss to Minnesota a couple weeks ago, Ferguson has been on fire. He’s hit multiple 3-pointers in each of the past six games and counting, including his 7-for-10 outing in the double-overtime loss to San Antonio. That game came on the heels of going 4-for-4 from deep against Minnesota and set the tone for what was to come."

Buckamneer went on to discuss other benefits of keeping Ferguson around, despite fans that wish to trade the 3-and-D player. Be sure to give it a read, whether you are a Ferg fan or a Ferg doubter, his recent contributions have come during a time of ensuing desperation and he deserves his credit.
