Sending well wishes to our man Dipo:

As soon as Victor went down social media blew up with prayers and well wishes from fans and players. Paul George was one of the first to send Victor a message.

Later when asked about the injury George commiserated with Victor and noted how tough this is on a fanbase who endured his horrific injury and recovery and how badly he felt for Pacers fans to be going through this situation so soon again.

One thing we do know – is Victor Oladipo has not one fan base but at least two pulling for him. Oladipo’s teammates and coach McMillan all noted how Dipo is the most positive person on his team and constantly lifting everyone up. McMillan said it’s now the team’s turn to do that for Victor.

More from Thunder News

If anyone can return stronger than they were prior to an injury, Oladipo certainly has that type of spirit and resolve as part of his makeup. At just under 27 years the guard will be able to rehabilitate and still have the ability to turn this around once he returns.

By no means is this an injury which should limit his ability to continuing growing. Right at the point where he’d be entering his prime don’t be surprised if Dipo defies all the odds. We’re hoping that is exactly what happens for the young man OKC grew to love during his short tenure with the Thunder.

The team at Thunderous Intentions offers our very best wishes for a quick and successful recovery.

Get well soon Victor – we’re pulling for you!

P.S. As a note to the head coaches who’ll be selecting the All-Star reserves – I hope you vote in Victor Oladipo and let Adam Silver select his replacement. Had Dipo not been injured he would’ve made the team and it would be a wonderful gesture by the coaches to still select him to the team.
