The OKC Thunder trade primer series continues as Oklahoma City look to the Brooklyn Nets to upgrade its roster at the deadline.

Sean Marks has done a terrific job with the Brooklyn Nets since taking over in 2016, transforming the franchise from the laughing stock of the NBA to a team competing for the playoffs. The Nets currently occupy the sixth spot in the East with a 29-27 record and look to be buyers at the deadline.

With one eye on 2019’s free agency, Brooklyn is rumored to be patient at the deadline chasing two big time free agents next Summer. Marks has done a tremendous job rebuilding its franchise and he’s been rewarded with the teams first All-Star since they were the New Jersey Nets.

D’Angelo Russell – the All-Star

After a season-ending knee injury to Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo, D’Angelo Russell was voted an All-Star by coaches to replace him. The young guard is averaging 19.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists quietly ascending as one of the leagues brightest stars.

With the Nets likely to stay pat at the deadline, T.I looks at two possible players OKC could target to solidify itself as a contender to win it all.
