OKC Thunder trade deadline primer: Pacers bevy of expiring contracts features desirable target

Although my partner in crime is big on Kyle O’Quinn I think Bogi is the player the OKC Thunder would want the most given their druthers.

On the season he’s averaging 16.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 0.8 assists and shooting a lethal 43.1 percent from the perimeter. And he takes 4.6 attempts from deep, per game. The other aspect of Bogdanovic’s offensive game which has improved is he’s willing to drive the paint now to keep defenders on their heels. And, just in case you need a player who gets up to play LeBron James BB sure seems to like those matchups as he proved last season in the playoffs and again via his 24 point scoring effort on Tuesday.

Once considered a player who was lost on defense Bogdanovic has improved showing the ability to function in Nate McMillan’s system.

Bogdanovic is one of eight (YES EIGHT) players on expiring contracts in Indiana. The others Darren Collison, Tyreke Evans, Cory Joseph, Kyle O’Quinn, Davon Reed, Edmond Sumner, and Thaddeus Young.

Again, how  Chad Buchanan and the Pacers brain trust decide to proceed will be the deciding factor for whether Bogdanovic is even available.
