Joseph is one of those eight expiring contracts and his value may seem to be less than others on the list. That’s if you don’t dive in deeper to see the values he brings which aren’t part of the box score.

For example, Joseph has won a title when playing with the Spurs and in his time in Toronto became a strong locker room voice. Going back to the night of Oladipo’s injury you’ll notice the huddle by the Pacers was lead by Joseph and Young which speaks to their value that can’t be given a value.

Witnessing so many teams struggling to find chemistry on and off the court I’d say those values are immeasurable.

On the season Joseph 7.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals. He’s shooting a decent 35.2 percent from deep which also can’t be undervalued. In comparison, Dennis Schroder is shooting 36.1 percent so not a huge difference.
