Lamb who the Thunder traded to add when James Harden was sent to Houston never quite developed quickly enough in OKC. He’s shown steady growth with his time in Charlotte and is likely much closer to the player Sam Presti was expecting when the Thunder had him on their roster.

This season he is averaging 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game. Each marker is a career-high (except assists).

Lamb still need to add consistency to his perimeter shot (33.8 percent) but the overall offensive production would make him a valuable addition to a contending bench.
