Jerian Grant:

Salary:

2018-19 – $2,639,314

As per spotrac.

Although the Thunder aren’t in need of a point guard Jerian Grant could fit into longer term plans for the team as a backup to their backup Dennis Schroder. Grant’s ability to play off ball and his development would be the key reasons to look at Grant.

Oh – and he just happens to be Jerami’s brother!

This season Jerian has averages of 4.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 17.6 minutes per game. At 6’4″ Grant is an above average sized guard and utilizes his size to help drive the paint and bully smaller guards. Where he needs work is his shot from the field and working to improve his long range shot.

So far this season Grant is struggling to demonstrate growth in the areas needed which makes his value less intriguing for the Thunder.
