Remember Jeff Green? He was drafted by the SuperSonics along with Kevin Durant and spent his initial four seasons with the Sonics and Thunder franchise. Since then he’s been a journeyman playing for six other teams.

Now in Washington this season he along with Beal and Ariza are counted on to do all the extras. At one time the Wizards bench was producing prior to falling off a cliff. Green was chiefly responsible for leading that unit.

On the season he’s averaging a healthy stat line of 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists with an improved perimeter efficiency of 36.5 percent (up from 31.2 percent last season with the Cavs).

Green would be a welcome addition to any contending team seeking veteran experience and someone who’ll do the dirty work others shy away from.
