Player Grades

. PG. Oklahoma City Thunder. RUSSELL WESTBROOK. A+

Russell Westbrook had another big game and seemed unbothered by the fact OKC was short two important players. His head was in the game as he logged another 20-point triple-double to make history once again.

The historic triple-double included 21 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. How fitting for Westbrook’s tenth triple-double be fated by the hands of the astonishing Paul George?

. SG. Oklahoma City Thunder. TERRANCE FERGUSON. B+

Terrance Ferguson had a final stat line of 8 points and 1 steal. He ended the night shooting 75 percent in the field, 1-2 from deep.

A+. . SF. Oklahoma City Thunder. PAUL GEORGE

Paul George had an explosive 17-point first quarter to finish with his first triple-double of the season, his third all-time. If just his triple-double isn’t impressive enough for you, feast your eyes upon the stat line that made it: 47 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists. With a 40-point trip-dub, PG joins legendary company like Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and others.

C. . PF. Oklahoma City Thunder. PATRICK PATTERSON

Filling in for Grant, Patrick Patterson clinched 7 rebounds on the night. He went 0-5 in the field in his 23 minutes of game time.

. C. Oklahoma City Thunder. STEVEN ADAMS. B

Steven Adams finished with 9 points and only one rebound in his 34 minutes, a rather unusual Kiwi stat line. With Jerami Grant out on injury tonight, his less-than ideal performance could have been detrimental.

Nurkic always seems to give Adams a tough matchup, but there may be a nagging injury as he’s been a little off in recent outings.

One standout was a forced turnover in the second quarter when he picked a pocket almost out to the halfcourt line and forced the Blazers to tip the ball out of bounds
