team. 170. . 27-28. Previous: 18th. Charlotte Hornets. 22

Charlotte was one of six teams who made no trades at the deadline which again is perplexing. Rumors the Hornets tried to add Marc Gasol seemed logical but having no option B is concerning on several fronts.

First of all, Michael Jordan has publicly stated he intends to re-sign Kemba Walker this summer but to keep him Charlotte need to add depth and talented depth (read: another star).

Like the Wolves, the Hornets have players with expiring contracts and three players with options. Bismack Biyombo and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist no doubt will opt in with Marvin Williams more likely to than not. This highlights the issue in Charlotte as they have several decent players who might work well if the Hornets had one or two additional stars but as constructed their roster is full of overpaid role players.
