OKC Thunder: TI editor power rankings week 17 – At last, the break
It’s impossible to peg the Mavericks as anything other than winners of trade week. Adding a unicorn to pair with perhaps the most exciting rookie talent to come along in years should have Mavericks fans extremely pumped for the future of the franchise.
Factor in Tim Hardaway Jr. who is likely to feast once the trio is together. Yet, let’s not forget Donny Nelson cleared room by trading Harrison Barnes contract and we’ll find out this offseason whether Dallas can attract a free agent to run with these two up and coming superstars.
For his part, Kristaps Porzingis didn’t hold back on his feelings over how the Knicks sent him out and the ‘zinger shade’ they threw post trade. Porzingis probably should’ve let sleeping dogs lie, but he’s a youngster we can forgive (at least more than a franchise brain trust who should know better).
