Previous: 14th. Brooklyn Nets. 15. team. 147. . 29-28

If you are in awe of what General Manager Sean Marks does with nothing imagine what he’ll do with no shackles on.

Then applaud the fact this team is relevant in a season they could (and likely should) be tanking. Specifically, marvel at how Marks always seems to find an asset the other Eastern Conference magician (Masai Ujiri) wants to remove from his roster and the fact he does it while always getting a draft pick attached. This was how the Raptors jettisoned Greg Monroe to the Nets and how Marks padded his second-round draft pick coffers.

The Nets have been the equivalent of the West’s Kings and regardless of where they end up hat tip to Marks and Kenny Atkinson for making them relevant sooner than expected, and doing so while also navigating injuries to core players. Bravo gentlemen.
