Atlanta Hawks. 26. team. 125. . 18-38. Previous: 26th

With so many teams desirous of adding shooting and depth it was surprising the Hawks didn’t capitalize on moving any of their vets or Taurean Prince who they were rumored to be shopping.

Looking ahead to the remainder of the season the Hawks are in a precarious position where they’ve won too much to be in the mix for the bottom three seeds and aren’t winning enough to catch the lead pack contending for playoff seeds.

Perhaps Atlanta will replicate what they did last season by buying out players like Dewayne Dedmon and Jeremy Lin (already bought out and joined Raptors) while Vince Carter is said to be happy staying put.

Note to the Knicks – this is how you treat players residing in your franchise and is precisely the type of goodwill a franchise can foster to build a solid reputation with the players.
