Player Grades
Russell Westbrook was the only player keeping the Thunder in contention for a win during their first home-and-home match-up with the Raptors. In that game, he walked away with a stat line of 42-11-6 in a whopping 44 minutes of play.
Tonight was no different as Westbrook finished the game with his 28th triple-double of the season. This one was composed of 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists to go along with 4 steals, two of which were a result of nothing less than a hyper-aggressive defensive effort. Westbrook finished the night with a pedestrian shooting effort of 6-20 from the field and 2-9 from behind the arc.
As a result, Westbrook shifted his game to be the catalyst his teammates needed, focusing on distributing the ball while making strategic drives to the bucket to amp up the energy and spark the Thunder to victory.
