OKC Thunder failed to replace Alex Abrines and its hurt them big time
Final Thought
Since Abrines’ departure, it clear the Thunder miss his skill set at the minute. While he wasn’t shooting the ball particularly well, the Spaniard developed strong defensive instincts with the ability to knock down perimeter shots.

OKC fans fell in love with Terrance Ferguson and rightfully so. The sophomore guard has taken major strides since his rookie year and went through a 20-game stretch where he couldn’t miss from the outside.
However, the 20-year-old has come back down to Earth and is currently in the midst of a slump with growing concerns he is a streaky shooter at this point in his career.
Oklahoma City’s current rotation of Schroder, Ferguson, Nader, and Burton is formidable at best. Schroder is the only proven commodity but he’s not a knockdown perimeter marksman while TFerg is still trying to find the range. Outside of these two, its a lottery with Nader and Burton with neither one showing to be better than the other.
Abrines’ departure at the time didn’t seem like a big deal because he wasn’t playing but as the team sits at the minute, could certainly use his two-way ability.
