NBA Power Rankings: Battle for seeding priority of OKC Thunder and peers
Although the Wizards and more specifically Bradley Beal showcased his overall talent after John Wall went down injured the Wizards were unable to translate those abilities into success.
This meant the Wizards produced on some weeks like week 22 where they strung together a winning effort, but it was too little, too late as they’ve now officially been removed from the playoff mix.
Moving forward what the Wizards do this summer will be interesting but it’s hard to imagine they’ll be players in the mix given their salary situation and the fact John Wall is tied into the supermax but likely won’t play for at least another full season.
