Although the Bulls brain trust hasn’t been notorious for offseason brilliance there should be ample hope for the fanbase this team can take a giant step next season. Certainly, the core of Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine, Otto Porter Jr. and Wendell Carter is as good (if not the elite) of the young team’s quartets in the lottery. What Gar Forman does to bolster this unit in terms of appropriate role players, defensive specialists and veterans will determine how quickly the Bulls re-ascend.
