Few playoff seeds are cemented with one week of games remaining. As such, T.I. offers a daily look at where the OKC Thunder and their peers are seeded.

Week 25 of action began for the OKC Thunder with a historic performance by Russell Westbrook delivering a mind boggling 20-20-21 triple-double in honor of his friend Nipsey Hussle who was brutally slain this past weekend. Although the OKC Thunder defeated the Lakers they were still sitting in eighth as Wednesday night’s slate of games began.

Four teams shifted position based on the results of Wednesday, April 3rd and similarly to how the day started more shuffling can be expected by night’s end Thursday.

To help Thunder Nation keep track of the seeding we’ll serve up a daily update for the final week of gameplay. Where the OKC Thunder finish is one aspect of the action, but the other part is who they will play and who their peers will play.

One shift happened in each conference on Wednesday but the Eastern side of the equation got much more jumbled as the bottom two teams of the five in the chase pack won while the three teams ahead of them lost.

The resulting effect is four teams are separated by one game. We’re looking at the four teams because It’s likely the Hornets fall out of the mix. Recalling last season when the Wolves edged out the Nuggets on the last game of the season it feels like seeding for sixth thorugh eighth in the last Eastern team won’t be decided until game 82 this season.

Here’s how the two conferences playoff ladders begin the day on Thursday, April 4th along with the scheduled games for tonight.
