Brooklyn Nets. 14. team. 147. . 38-36. Previous: 16th

Unlike some teams no matter what occurs in the playoffs this season is a qualified success story for the Brooklyn Nets. After years of watching their own pick end up in Bean Town, no one would’ve questioned Sean Marks if the mandate had been to lose.

Instead, the Nets defied untimely injuries to key players and watched as one after another Nets player stepped up and delivered ‘the next man up” mandate.

With eight games remaining Brooklyn could finish as high as sixth or just off the playoff ladder in ninth. The variance in positioning also means they could face any of the top four Eastern talents all of which came into this season expecting to reach the playoffs.
