Indiana Pacers. 12. team. 100. . 45-29. Previous: 13th

A brutal week for the Pacers with three road losses to playoff bound teams. Just as it appeared the Pacers were in complete free fall, however, they bested the Nuggets by a 36 point differential.

While some will cite the loss of Victor Oladipo (and yes, that’s a part of it) the reality is the toughest portion of their schedule was slated for year end (much like what the OKC Thunder are dealing with) and they abandoned their defensive identity (sound familiar?)

What is different is the Pacers don’t have two superstars to help them when the offense stalls.
