OKC Thunder Best Reserve:

Oklahoma City Thunder. MARKIEFF MORRIS. A-. . SF/PF

Markieff Morris has been offensively silent for his OKC Thunder portion of the season, but has been good nonetheless. He has done well on the defensive recovery side and rebounding. Tonight he had his most boisterous night in blue and orange with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds off 5-9 shooting.

He was a major help on the boards with Adams not necessarily present in the second half.

PG. Oklahoma City Thunder. RAYMOND FELTON. A-.

Oh… dadbod Ray Ray, you never disappoint! Raymond Felton capped off the record-setting first half with a buzzer-beater three and got the juices flowin’! He ended the night tying Morris with most points off the bench and a few shy of a double-double of his own. His 12 points came off 50 percent shooting (all from 3-point land) paired with seven assists.

Go ahead Felton, be a point guard why don’t cha.

Best Opponent:

A. . G. Milwaukee Bucks. TIM FRAZIER

Now, this one is difficult… he laid hands on our precious Kiwi and that’s just something you don’t do. Regardless, he led the Giannis-less Bucks with 29 points and 13 assists. He kept us busy defensively shooting 43 percent and hitting 4 of his 6 attempts behind the arc.

More from Thunderous Intentions

It wasn’t a good feeling watching the OKC Thunder take the court in a deciding game without Paul George. The team worked together to not only get a win they desperately needed, but they also showed depth, incredible ball movement, and that Russ doesn’t have to lead the team on his own. What a refreshing game to see even if it took 82 games to get here.

Records have been broken, names have been written in the history books, a precious jersey hangs from the rafters… what a wild ride it has been as an OKC Thunder fan.

That’s it, folks, the last game of 82 this season. The OKC Thunder are sixth and will sit back and become viewers like the rest of us awaiting the results of tonight’s games. As soon as TI knows who the third seed will be, we’ll dive into analyzing the first round. Stick with us.
