Schroder versus Curry:

Dennis Schroder is the most dominant OKC Thunder bench player, so his match-up with Seth Curry is rather important. From a statistical standpoint, Schroder blows Curry out of the water.

As per hoopsstats.com Schroder averages 15.5 points in his 29 minutes while Curry averages nearly half that. While Curry attempts less than seven field goals a game, Schroder attempts 14 for 41.4 percent shooting.

To the naked eye, Curry doesn’t seem to be a threat on the boards, so Schroder could wrangle in a few more defensive boards with this match-up.

Through his last five games, Schroder averaged 18.3 points with the highest performance being his 32-point outing to finish the season.

Curry also ended on a high note with a 19-point performance (five made 3-pointers) versus the Lakers to round out an average of 13.2 points over his last five games.

Versus OKC, Curry only contributed 2 rebounds and 8 points off 50 percent shooting and only one made 3-ball. Since that game, however, he has had six games sinking 3 or more from deep. He’s definitely not one to be written off, but I think Dennis Schroder could easily handle this match-up.
