With the series shifting to Oklahoma City for the first time, the OKC Thunder have put themselves in a must-win situation early in the opening round.

Two games into Round 1, the OKC Thunder are still searching for that elusive first victory. Winning on the road is hard. Therefore, Oklahoma City must hold serve at home if they desire to extend the series and have a chance to reach the West Quarter-Finals.

In order to accomplish that, the Thunder requires focus, poise, and their fans but more on that in a moment. Three areas that will be vital for Oklahoma City are improving their historically poor perimeter shooting, getting out on the break by controlling the tempo, and getting more from the others, specifically Dennis Schroder, Jerami Grant, and Terrance Ferguson.

The Team Needs You!

In both Game 1 and 2, the crowd inside the Moda Center was loud and raucous, helping the Blazers gain their 2-0 series lead. Tonight, Thunder Nation the squad needs your help to get the win, it’s time to create an atmosphere that is roaring and rambunctious.

The Blazers took care of business at home, thanks in part because their role players performed well in Portland. It’s time for the Thunder’s second-tier players to bring their best performance. In order for them to do that, they need you behind them, after every single play, cheering, encouraging, and willing the team to their first victory.

If all else fails, feel free to boo the team, because last year in Game 5 versus Utah, that was the turning point when the boo birds came out. Sometimes a little tough love is the best thing to provide. Regardless if you shower the Thunder with cheers, or boos use the fan bammers and be thunderous.
