Terrance Ferguson season review: OKC Thunder guard expected to take another leap
By Brayden Koch
Standout moments:
One thing that T-Ferg has not lacked throughout his time with OKC is his fair share of highlight plays. Here are some of his top moments of the 2018-2019 season.
Ferguson had one of his best scoring outings in a game against the Spurs. Coming off of two heartbreaking losses to lottery teams, (Wizards and Timberwolves) OKC was in need of a strong performance, and that Is what they got from T-Ferg.
While contributing 21 points, he was one of the reasons OKC survived into double overtime. His seven made threes included two that came at the end of regulation which directly contributed to sending the game into overtime. Even though the Thunder ended up losing this game, it seemed to be the morale boost they needed, as it translated into 12 wins over their next 15 contests.
And then there are the inevitable highlight dunks… Honestly, who didn’t see this coming? With his elite athletic ability, Terrance Ferguson showed us more of his dunking arsenal with a tough alley-oop and a nice cradle jam.
Despite only scoring 14 points in this game, Ferguson proved his ability to be a defensive asset, blocking Rockets big man, Isaiah Hartenstein. Along with this, he showcased his off ball movement with a wonderful baseline cut that leads to a basket.
