OKC Thunder fans may want to check out Paul George’s new Nike PG3 to be released May 24th at select Nike retailers for $110.

If you had a chance to check out my rankings of the top OKC Thunder kicks of the season there were a few of PG3 PEs that appeared in there.  One of these PEs contained iridescent accents. This newest PG3 colorway is the closest thing to these PEs released so far.

The PE version of the Nike PG3 that we saw on-court in OKC on February 5th versus the Orlando Magic differs from this new release mainly in just color. As you can see above the Paul George PE version has the same iridescent portion, but is accented with more OKC colors and also has that polished silver tongue.

In this newest colorway, sitting against an otherwise all-black canvas the iridescent accents really pop and that portion of the shoe is what your focus is immediately brought to. This strategic placement of shimmering iridescent accents on the logo and mid-foot straps against the black canvas really make this an excellent shoe.

Above is an actual look at the shoe that will be releasing on May 24th. While it doesn’t have the OKC colors that George’s PE version had, you can still go out and cop this shoe to show some support for one of OKC’s favorites Paul George.

This colorway doesn’t have a name yet that I am aware of, so I am going to settle for calling it the PG3 Iridescent for now. The Iridescent colorway of the PG3 isn’t quite as vibrant as the NASA colorway released earlier in the season, but this is the best colorway since then and should be available in much larger quantities than the NASA colorway.

The sneaker will be released at select Nike retailers on May 24th for $110.
