OKC Thunder players and NBA stars honor the women in their lives on Mother’s Day

As we celebrate the important women in our lives OKC Thunder players took to social media to wish their Moms and Wives a Happy Mother’s Day.

First of all, to all the Mothers, Grandmothers, Wives and important women in your life Thunderous Intentions extends you a Happy Mother’s Day! Like their fanbase, the OKC Thunder and NBA players are also actively celebrating the special women in their lives and took to social media to honor them.

As hoop heads, many of us will be sidling up to watch two Game 7’s which will complete the second round of the playoffs and determine the final four teams who’ll pair up in the Conference Finals.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors have already stamped their tickets and today at one of the Denver Nuggets or Portland Trail Blazers will join the Dubs in the quest for the Western Conference title. While one of the Toronto Raptors or Philadelphia 76ers will join Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s team to represent the East and battle to move onto the Finals. Game one tips off at 3:30 p.m. and the second match tips off at 7:00 p.m. (both Eastern Standard Time).

Prior to that, and more importantly, this day allows us time to honor the females in our lives who shaped us, support us and love us unconditionally.

Russell Westbrook typically jumps on social media to send out special messages to wife Nina Earl and his Mom Shannon Horton on Mother’s Day. Today was no exception.
