A Briefing on Antonio Daniels

Antonio Robert Daniels is a former NBA player. He was selected fourth overall out of Bowling Green State University, in the 1997 NBA Draft, which was the same draft where Tim Duncan landed with the Spurs. Daniels remained in the association for the next 13-years; tied for the fifth-longest tenure among the 1997 draft class.

AD played for seven teams during the course of his 13-year career, including; four seasons apiece with the Spurs and Wizards, two year’s with the Sonics, and one season each with the New Orleans Hornet’s (now the Pelicans), Blazers, Sixers, and the Vancouver Grizzlies, (now, relocated in Memphis).

Currently, Daniels works for Fox Sports and serves as a studio analyst for the Thunder and Pelicans. AD also has a radio show on Sirius XM on the NBA’s private channel. Daniels is married to wife, Sonia. The couple has two daughters together, this past summer, AD and Sonia welcomed their first son, Antonio Jaden Daniels, on July 12, 2018.
