Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. F. 17. player. North Carolina. Cam Johnson. 147

Cameron Johnson hit the trey ball at a 45.7 percent rate from 3-point land, and 16.9 points per game, with almost six rebounds per game for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Johnson is a very good shooter, and he is also a well above average defender mixing for a mid-to-late round steal in the NBA Draft.

His biggest knock is the fact that he is 23.2 years old, he seems to be done growing and developing on the hardwood, and that would not be a bad thing.

If Cameron Johnson continues his production from college to the pros, he would be a low end start to a very good bench player that could even steal a few headlines and sixth man of the year votes.

His great shooting abilities mixed with his tantalizing defense gives him a skill set that any NBA team could use from this years NBA Draft class.

The Nets are coming off an NBA Playoff appearance and they hope to build from that. Cam Johnson is extremely pro ready, like throw him into an NBA rotation and do not even worry about it, pro ready.

He plays faster than the college ranks, even in the incredible ACC conference, and that will play into his hands once he gets to the NBA level. He will not be having to find a way to catch up to the NBA pace, he has been playing at it for years.
