2019 NBA Mock Draft 2.0: The post Combine edition, OKC Thunder still focused on shooting
By Rylan Stiles
Romeo Langford was an absolute stud coming out of high school. Even the most casual of College Basketball fans who barely keep up with the mess of the recruiting process, heard the name, Romeo Langford.
When he selected to go to the historic Indiana Hoosiers, no one expected his teammates around him to play as poorly as they did. Langford averaged just over two assists per game but he is a much better playmaking than that, his teammates did not do him any favors.
Langford is not without weaknesses in his game, his streaky shooting and poor form have to be addressed at the next level, and he needs to make quicker decisions on the floor.
Langford’s per game averages were 16.5 points and five rebounds. The issue, however was his shot particularly from deep where he hit just 27 percent. That will be an issue in the current style of the NBA.
For Washington, without John Wall for another year, they will need Langford to play NBA minutes from day one and be a big time contributor, if they do in fact select the 19 year old.
