Vanderbilt. Darius Garland. 24. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. PG. 7

Darius Garland is the son of a former NBA player, Winston Garland who played in over 500 NBA games.

Garland is drawing pro comparisons to Damian Lillard, and the Bulls would be thrilled if they were turning in a draft card for the next Damian Lillard.

Garland’s best, and the most interesting asset is the fact that he can play make with both hands.

Garland’s biggest knock is the fact that he is so undersized. At just 6’2 and 175 pounds, that could cause some issues for the guard out of Vanderbilt.

Garland is a great shooter, so much so he shot 47 percent from deep a year ago in a shortened season.

The 19 year old is coming off a torn Meniscus in his left knee which is extremely concerning as you have no idea how any player will rebound from an injury like this.

His pick and roll playmaking and flashy passing make for a fun player to watch, a creative player to watch, and a productive player to watch.

Despite the injury concerns, with his upside and in this shallow draft, this would be the best pick up for the Bulls at pick number seven.
