Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. 20. G. Virginia. De'Andre Hunter. 4

De’Andre Hunter is older than Jayson Tatum. Let that sink in, and take it whichever way you want to.

The Lakers pick is up in the air for me, it is hard to peg exactly where they will go with this selection. There also is a strong possibility that whoever is drafted to the Los Angelos Lakers is not long for Hollywood and will be used as a trade piece in the ‘Summer of Revamp’ around LeBron James and in L.A.

Hunter at age 21.4 might not have the most upside, but he is also pro ready. One of the most pro ready players in this year’s class in fact. If the Lakers strike out on all their prized free agents and get outbid for Anthony Davis, the Purple and Gold will need a player who can jump into the fire at the NBA level to help improve the roster and get LeBron James back in the playoffs and help the NBA ratings again.

Hunter is a very good 3-point shooter, and defender, someone LeBron James and Lonzo Ball would love dishing to during the course of the season.

While Hunter is not a missing piece per se, he is a very good addition to the Lake Show if they retain their pick.
