About the Movie

The documentary has been making the rounds at movie festivals this year. It follows the story of Kenny Sailors, who was a fan favorite college basketball player in the 1940s. After playing on several losing teams in the upstart league known as the NBA, Sailors fell out of the association and vanished into the Alaskan wilderness.

Warriors guard, Steph Curry, was one of the executive producers for the film. Curry recently broke into the television and movie industry. He launched his own production company, titled Unanimous Media. In addition to Jump Shot, Steph already has film credits for Breakthrough and Emanuel.
