The OKC Thunder have wanted Admiral Schofield for a while now, they interviewed the prospect a year ago, and now, more than ever, they could use his talents.
The Thunder have looked for a forward that can shoot the long ball consistently and effectively to give Paul George and Russell Westbrook more spacing and room to operate.
The OKC Thunder hoped Patrick Patterson or Markieff Morris would fill their power forward needs but neither lived up to expectations. Finding a suitable and inexpensive option is essential. Although Jerami Grant has grown into a larger role especially from the perimeter, he can go cold occasionally. Therefore, it would behoove Presti to consider Schofield as supplemental help off the bench as a perimeter threat.
The OKC Thunder have a ton of choices to make ahead of the June 20th NBA Draft. Sam Presti could trade down into the latter segment of the first round. He could trade out of the draft altogether since OKC don’t own a second round pick. Or the Thunder could take Admiral Schofield who is the perfect fit in Loud City.
