Mock Draft 3.0 – Predicting how the dominoes fall, with view to fit, shifts, and OKC Thunder best bet
Talk about a match made in heaven. It’s doubtful when the Bulls landed the seventh pick needing to add a point guard they thought Coby White would still be on the board when they made their pick. But, with the shifts and events of late, that’s precisely what seems likely to occur.
White is precisely the type of talent who could make this Bulls offense special and his talents will pair perfectly with a fast paced, offense as the options open to him will include Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter, Zach LaVine and Otto Porter Jr.
The young Bulls may not end up playoff bound immediately, but with the addition of White, they could join the Kings, Hawks, and Nets as one of the more lethal developing offenses.
As I noted in the first mock White also won’t need to be the sole primary quarterback given LaVine’s passing ability and big’s with above average playmaking ability.
Every Draft night serves up an emotional story and White’s if you missed it will touch your heart and have you pulling for this youngster long before he ever plays a minute in the pros.
