I have to admit, when I thought about writing this article earlier this week, I never in a million years though Jontay Porter would be included in the best-undrafted player’s list. I mean, he was once considered a first round lock before his two knee injuries in a six month span, and no team in 60 picks was willing to take a flyer on him to ensure they grab him and have the chance of seeing what he turns into?

That is literally insane to me, and something that I can not shake from my mind (I know, I am crazy for caring so much about a prospect going undrafted), but there has to be some underlying reason why Porter fell off of draft boards completely.

If Jontay Porter clears the medical records, the OKC Thunder, or really any NBA team, have to give him a shot. Porter is a great floor spacer and can do great things at an NBA level.

The fact that Porter was considered a first-round talent by seemingly every NBA Draft expert, but was not drafted, is just weird and leaves questions being raised even more about his health.
