Jontay Porter and Bol Bol both suffered injuries as big men in college. For Jontay Porter, he suffered a torn ACL twice in six months, while Bol Bol also suffered a knee injury while in college that wiped out his college season after nine games.

More from Thunder Draft

Both of these players were considered first-round locks entering the college season, and for Bol Bol, it was hard to think of a situation in which Bol Bol would not see himself drafted in the Lottery.

Well, Bol Bol was not selected in the lottery or the first round. In fact, Bol Bol fell all the way to pick 44 when he was selected by the Miami Heat and swiftly traded to the Denver Nuggets.

Bol Bol had to wait it out in Barkley’s center and had everyone on Twitter feeling bad for the big man. When the Barkley’s center erupted when Bol Bol heard his name called he told ESPN “I did not know I had that many fans.”

For Jontay Porter, his wait was a little longer.

In fact, Porter never heard his name called on Draft night, and is hoping to get a call and sign somewhere as an undrafted free agent.

As of Saturday afternoon, two days after the NBA Draft, Jontay Porter is still searching for an NBA Home, or even an NBA Summer League try out.

This has to make you wonder if Porter has more injury issues or red flags.
