Deonte Burton already made an impression on OKC Thunder fans last summer, he looks to do it again this summer.
Deonte Burton stole the hearts of Thunder fans who watched summer league last year. The explosive athletic freak with more meat on his bones than a typical NBA player rocked fans world a year ago. His funny looking facemask mixed with his high flying jams were the highlight of the summer.
Burton earned himself a two way deal with the OKC Thunder after his stellar summer performance. He helped lead the OKC Blue squad who finished with a solid season and left Thunder fans pleading with Billy Donovan to give him more run with the varsity squad.
Deonte Burton played in 32 games a year ago with the OKC Thunder, earning himself a permanent contract with the team.
Burton did not get enough minutes to post high per game numbers, but his per 36 numbers show he projects to be a solid role player in the NBA.
