Kevin Hervey, like Hall, was drafted in the second round a year ago. Can he make the roster?
Unlike Hall, Kevin Hervey did not go overseas after not making the varsity squad, instead, he played for the team’s G-League affiliate the OKC Blue.
Hervey caught the eyes of Thunder fans last season both for his play in the Summer League and for the Blue.
A year ago in Vegas, the small forward posted seven points, an assist, and two rebounds a game.
Hervey settled in nicely with the Blue where he turned in 11 points per game on 44 percent from the field, and 31 percent from deep.
Hervey is hoping to have another quality Summer and earn the second two-way spot with the team, who have already given away one of their allotted two-way roster spots.
However, that is really as far as Hervey can go. A two-way player that spends most of his time in the G-League.
Likelihood to make the roster: 2/10, due to his chance to nab that second two-way spot.
