Luguentz Dort has already signed a full two-way contract with the OKC Thunder. Summer League gives fans a first look at Dort.

Lu Dort made the jump to the NBA after just one year at Arizona State. Some think betting on himself was the wrong move because staying another year could’ve potentially resulted in the youngster moving up as a first round selection.

Instead, this season he missed both rounds and went undrafted. All was not lost as Sam Presti immediately snatched him up on draft night offering him one of the team’s two 2-way contracts. Therefore, Dort will spend time this coming season as a time-share player between the OKC Blue and Thunder.

His NBA journey starts on Saturday at Vegas Summer League, and the fact Sam Presti has already inked Dort to a full two-way contract shows how much the General Manager likes his game.

Dort will fit right in personality wise. He is a fearless competitor and has the swagger to fit in with the guys on the Thunder.

The 20-year-old wing does a ton of things right on the floor and makes a ton of exciting plays, including his incredible ability to create offense for himself.

Mark my words, Luguentz Dort will be the player that OKC Thunder walk away raving about after the Vegas Summer League session is over. He will make a ton of exciting plays that will have fans in the same spot about Dort that they found themselves in a year ago with Deonte Burton.

Likelihood of making the roster: 10/10.
