Should OKC Thunder strike while the iron is hot and trade superstar Russell Westbrook?

Although this might be an obvious one, if OKC decides to keep Westbrook, his value will keep decreasing every year that his production goes down and his salary increases.

If OKC decides to trade Russ this offseason, his value on the open market would most likely never be higher in the future than it is today.

Combining the fact that next years FA class is underwhelming and the fact Russ is still a productive player, OKC should be able to get max value in return for him this offseason and thus strengthen the hypothetical rebuild.
