Following the shocking trade of Paul George, the revised Vegas odds indicate a low probability of OKC Thunder title chances.

As of this morning, Vegas has the OKC Thunder at 50 to 1 odds to win the title this upcoming 2019-2020 season. This wasn’t a significant drop in their championship odds before the trade, but it is no better.

The Thunder are now behind 14 other teams who have far better odds to compete for a championship.

Vegas cites new favorite to win title post trade:

In an inconceivable move of epic proportions, the Los Angles Clippers acquired a combination of former OKC Thunder all-star Paul George and two-time NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and firmly put themselves as 2.75 to 1 favorites to win the championship as per Odds Shark.

Second Best Team in LA

In the span of 24 hours, the Los Angeles Lakers went from being 7-5 favorites to hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy at the end of the season, to no longer being the best team in the Staples Center.

Now with Demarcus Cousins joining the Lakers, Vegas puts the Lakers behind the LA Clippers as having the second-best odds to win it all at 3.5 to 1.
