Emulating success:

Unless I’ve been fooled by the past 12 seasons of Sam Presti’s General Managing ability, I would say he’s a pretty great GM in today’s league. A majority of GM’s don’t last even close to 12 years in one spot and for Presti to have done that thus far, owner Clay Bennett must have the utmost confidence in his abilities, consequently, so do I.

I expect the OKC Thunder to use their fresh haul of assets to maneuver around draft boards, whether that be to trade up or down, use their future salary cap space as ways to acquire more assets, and most importantly hit on draft picks. With so many picks available to OKC in the next eight years, it’s almost impossible to not hit on at least one of them.

Thank you, Russell Westbrook; a trip down memory lane. dark. Next

After an unfortunate and disappointing end to an unbelievable era of OKC Thunder basketball, it’s time for the franchise to undergo their first rebuild and I have confidence that Presti can get the Thunder back to contention in the near future.
