1. Game 5 comeback vs the Jazz: Westbrook willed the Thunder to a historic 25 point comeback against the Utah Jazz in game five. A moment I personally will never forget witnessing in person. Westbrook was one of just two players to reach double figures in the win-or-go-home contest.
2. Clippers free throws in playoffs: Kevin Durant could not even watch as Russell Westbrook stepped to the line and nailed three straight free throws after being down two to the Clippers and having Chris Paul foul him in the act of shooting. After sinking the last free throw KD ran up and grabbed Westbrook and lifted him into the air.
3. Crazy Game winner vs Warriors: This is one of the wildest shots you will ever see. A caught inbound save turn around 3-pointer for the win.
4. Going head to head with KD: In the first matchup between KD and the new look OK3, the Thunder dominated the Warriors and frustrated KD who jawed at Russ before the two went forehead to forehead, to create one of the loudest moments I have ever experienced in the arena.
5. Perfect triple-double: Yes, Russell Westbrook really pulled off a perfect Triple-Double. Need I say more?
6. Inbound off Rodney Hood to himself: This is a play only Russ thinks of. Before the end of the second half, he throws a pass off Hood’s back catches it and shoots it all before the buzzer sounds.
7. Next Question (Houston series): In the Houston Rockets series during his MVP season, the Thunder were extremely competitive, if not better than the Rockets with Russ on the floor. However, when he left the floor the team obviously plummeted. That sparked a heated back and forth with Barry Trammel that saw Russ defend his teammates until the end.
8. He’s too small celebration: When Russell Westbrook slaps the top of his head with a three signifying he just shot over someone, it is an instant hype moment.
9. 3-point guns: Before the three’s on the head, Russell Westbrook had the 3-point guns which were just as exciting for fans. Kids around Oklahoma use to replicate this celebration after a made shot.
10. Fight with Warriors in 2016-17: Steph Curry and Russ came together in a random scuffle during one of the most heated games you will see from Westbrook.
11. Russ gets into mascot beef: Russ did not just have beef for players, he also did not like mascots. Russ blocked a shot of the Nuggets mascot “rocky” that could’ve earned the entire stadium a treat, so the next time the two teams played, Rocky brought back up.
12. Russ fights Mavs for breaking up Dance party: Again, the beef continues. Russell was not shy of contact shoving Mavericks players out of the way because they would dare interrupt the dance party between him and Cameron Payne.
13. What are you talking about man?: Russ is the king of the one-liners, and this high pitched, disgusted “Wha?!” followed by “What’re you talking about, man?” is one of the most memed moments for NBA Twitter.
14. Ah, that’s pretty interesting!: Another classic meme is when Westbrook found out he set yet another triple-double record he simply let out a classic “AAAAH, That’s pretty interesting.”
15. Smoking Cigars at house party: Smoking Cigars at the house party with PG13 after George re-signed was a huge moment in Thunder and Westbrook history.
16. Cam Payne Dance Parties: No beef involved, just classic pre-game dances with Cam Payne.
