The primary scorer:

Thunder Nation is still licking their open wounds over the loss of Westbrook but the incoming assets do bring their own tool kit of talents. One such player to focus on is Danilo Gallinari who was a key cog in the Clippers offense last season.

Following the trade of Tobias Harris to the 76ers, the two players who were the primary scorers in LA were Lou Williams (20.0) who captained the bench for Doc Rivers and Gallo who was the primary scorer of the starting unit (19.8 points per game).

His offense is varied and versatile and with him, the Thunder gain a power forward who can stretch the floor. That alone addresses an issue Billy Donovan and OKC have struggled to consistently put on the court for several seasons.

Danilo’s perimeter efficiency offers a reason for excitement as he shot 43.3 percent on 5.5 attempts last season. In addition, Gallo is a decent rebounder with 4.8 grabbed per game in his last campaign and will help on the defensive boards (4.4) an area Adams doesn’t excel as much as he does on the offensive glass.
