Holiday Games:
While the OKC Thunder miss out on Christmas Day after playing nine consecutive years of hooping on the holiday there are other holiday games the team will be featured.
Christmas Games:
- Raptors host Celtics at noon on ESPN
- 76ers host Bucks 2:30 on ABC
- GSW host Rockets at 5:00 on ABC
- Clippers host Lakers at 8:00 on ABC
- Denver hosts Pelicans at 10:30 on ESPN

Martin Luther King Jr. Day:
OKC will play on several holidays including Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Thunder travel to Houston to tip off versus Russell Westbrook’s Rockets. MLK Jr. Day has become synonymous with the NBA and this season every squad except the Dallas Mavericks and LA Clippers will play. Of the 28 teams playing NBA TV will feature the Raptors at Atlanta and the TNT tripleheader features New Orleans at Memphis, the Lakers at Boston and Golden State at Portland.

Thanksgiving weekend:
While no teams play on Thanksgiving (November 28), 26 teams play on November 29 including the OKC Thunder who’ll be featured on NBA TV as they host Zion Williamson’s Pelicans and the late game finds the Wizards on the road to the Lakers. The four squads who won’t play are the Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day:
New Year’s Eve features 14 clubs including the OKC Thunder who’ll play host to the Dallas Mavericks. New Year’s Day finds eight teams on the hardwood with the marquee game featuring the Timberwolves at the Milwaukee Bucks on NBA TV.
Ten clubs play on Good Friday including the OKC Thunder who’ll play host to the New York Knicks while eight squads play on Easter Sunday with all games on NBA TV except the Knicks at the Raptors. The other six teams playing are the Rockets at Spurs, Hawks at Bucks and Wolves at Lakers.
