No. 16: Dallas Mavericks – Champ and MavsMan

Let me just start off by saying Champ has style. Although he went through a few makeovers, he has found his niche and style. I’m not a fan of face tattoos, but his M on his face is hardcore. He has tremendous hops even for a horse. Champ’s color scheme is interesting considering he doesn’t match the color of the Mavericks logo.

Champ has a pal who often joins him on game days – MavsMan who kind of looks like what you would expect a WWE basketball wrestler to look like including the stripes from the basketball on his face.

My biggest issue with Champ is that the facial expression he’s stuck with. His mouth just looks awkward. He just seems like he’s stuck in a state of perpetually being befuddled by something. His hair is luxurious and I think the horseshoe as his jersey number is a nice touch as well.

I guess you shouldn’t look a Champ horse in its mouth.
