No. 15: Detroit Pistons – Hooper

Back to back horses on my list. Wow, maybe I should stop horsing around and analyze his horsepower. Hooper is a big fan of pranking other mascots. Hooper gains the edge on Champ because I like Hooper’s color scheme far more.

Asking yourself why a horse for the Pistons? Well, you aren’t alone but once explained it makes sense. Just like a car requires horsepower so too do the Detroit Pistons. Or rather, the Pistons (team) produces horsepower.

Part of Hooper’s appeal expanded this season to his acting chops as he and the Detroit Pistons created team themed shady and or funny skits directed at their opponents. Hooper is popcorn thief and he openly brags about it on his Twitter account. I’m curious if he thinks he’s the best horse mascot in the league.
