No. 9: Philadelphia 76ers – Franklin the Dog

Franklin, the dog is a prankster. His beef with Robin Lopez is truly one of the best bits in the NBA. Although Franklin doesn’t have a relatively enticing appearance, as a matter of fact. If I was was walking down a dark alley and came across Franklin I’d probably walk the other direction.

But, given how much shade the other mascots in the Association have taken from Robin it looks like Franklin seems to be getting the upper hand and last laugh on this Lopez brother.

Franklin the dog doesn’t have too many specialties going for him, but Philadephia loves him. I think he is a far better alternative than a Benjamin Franklin mascot. Philly must have felt blue when they first found out Franklin wasn’t a turtle.
