OKC Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari takes Bone Collector and Jordan Kilganon to school in a game of HORSE – or in this case FIBA World Cup.
On August 4th, OKC Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari had an appendectomy which threatened to keep him off the court for the FIBA World Cup. The Italian healed quickly and is back in action in time to participate with his Italian National Team at the event.
Gallo however, healed quickly and looks great. As his social media post demonstrated he took Bone Collector and Jordan Kilganon to school in the HORSE challenge.

In truth, both Bone Collector and Kilganon held their own and throughout the contest, you can see they know the game requires using your best shot and assets to take out the other player.
For Bone Collector those go-to moves often included dribbling between the legs and behind the back shots. Kilganon relied more heavily on dunks and also used behind the back shots.
Gallinari proved to be the master at almost everything including the ability to dribble between his legs and do behind the back shots. Now you might want to sit down for this OKC Thunder fans because it was the charity stripe that pushed Gallo into the win.
Not only did he hit a free throw shot but he did it with his off-hand (left hand). For a team who’ve struggled from the charity stripe for several seasons the fact Gallo is so adept at the stripe is more than a little encouraging.
Running through the HORSE competition each of the players picked up letters. Of note, the trio used FIBA World Cup as their counter so the letters each player was trying to avoid spelling was FIBAWC.
In the end, Gallo prevailed with that left handed free throw and no doubt will have bragging rights for a while against his pals Bone Collector and Jordan Kilganon.
