Chris Paul: Keeping a Signature athlete in OKC

OKC lost not only one, but two signature shoe athletes this offseason, so for OKC sneakerheads this was not a great offseason. Luckily, OKC will have Chris Paul coming into the season who will be the Thunder’s new signature shoe athlete.

Chris Paul has been a Jordan Brand signature shoe athlete for 11 years now, so he brings the CP3.XI table and we will surely see his 12th signature shoe soon. This is exciting, but like Gilgeous-Alexander, we haven’t got to see him on-court since being traded to OKC, so all we have for now is his off the court shoe game.

Not long after being traded to the Thunder Paul was spotted at the WNBA All-Star game wearing the Air Jordan Three Tinker Black Cement. This was one of the better retro Jordan releases of the summer.

It is also worth noting that Chris Paul went to another WNBA game earlier in the offseason before he was traded with LeBron James and then Thunder star Russell Westbrook. At that game, Paul went with a more simple look with the Vans Old Skool shoes and Westbrook rocked a pair of PE Westbrook Zer0.2s.
